# Vectors problem

Vectors problem
Point C has position vec (2 , 3) and point D has position vec (1 , 2)
find position vec of the point which divides CD in the ratio 4:-3
I really don't understand the ratio part of this question.
so i took the point as P which divides externally

Than i soldes
OP>=OC> + CP>
i know that CP> is 3/4th of CD>
so 2i + 3j + 3/4(-i-2j + 2i +3j)
Solving this i get the wrong answer.
Can someone explain?A diagram would be much appreciated.
