    sequence

    Z W Y X

    The sequence above may be changed in either of two ways . either two adjacent letters may be interchanged or the entire sequence may be reversed . what is the least number of such changes needed to put the letters into alphabetical order from left to right ?

    A 2 b 3 c 4 d 5 e 6

    the answer would be B)3 times
    Z,W,Y,X
    to Z,Y,W,X
    to Z,Y,X,W
    then flip letter order to W,X,Y,Z

    if i read right that should work

    Yes, and while other sequences of moves are possible, three is the minimum since W has to be switched at least twice to move it to the end opposite to Z.
