According to this formula, what is the estimated outside temperature if you count 80 chirps in a minute?

Not sure what the stray ''4'' is at the bottom there. Assuming it is irrelevant though. Heres your answer:

From the formula

Temperature = (number of chirps (80) - 40) => 40

then;

Temperature = 40 + 50
=> 90 (F)

90 is your answer,

ok well in that case just continue as before:

We had,

Temperature = 40 +50

make it:

Temperature = (40/4) +50

=> 10 + 50

=> 60 (F)
