Can someone remind me of the rules please? When do I switch the inequality? When don't I? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!

you will switch the ineqality if (i) multiply by a -ve sign (ii) inverse the relation for example: (i) 5 <6 but -5>-6 (ii) $\displaystyle \frac{3}{2}>\frac{1}{3}$ but $\displaystyle \frac{2}{3} <\frac{3}{1}$
