    Re-arranging an equation

    Is it possible to re-arrange 2-1/(n-1)+1/n(n-1) to get 2-1/n? Thanks

    Are you sure you wrote this correctly? (2-1) = 1 so ...

    \frac{1}{n-1}+\frac{1}{n(n-1)} = \frac{n}{n(n-1)}+\frac{1}{n(n-1)} = \frac{n+1}{n(n-1)}
