Can you please help me to find a formula, based on the given ordered pairs:
f(x) = {(0,2), (2, 4.5), (3,6.75)}
Hello, inna!
There are a brizillion possible formulas . . .
Can you please help me to find a formula, based on the given ordered pairs:
. . $\displaystyle f(x) \;=\;{(0,2),\;(2, 4.5),\;(3,6.75)}$
Since the points are not collinear, the simplest function is a quadratic.
. . Example:. $\displaystyle f(x) \;=\;\tfrac{1}{12}(4x^2 + 7x + 24)$
Here's a cute one: . $\displaystyle f(x) \;=\;2(1.5^n) $
