    Prove Mathematically That...

    No calculators please....I need to solve by showing each step and what the step is basically doing; I can get all the way up to where I have to deal with the radical in the radical, any help is greatly appreciated.

    Square both sides to get 36^2 + 3\cdot 18^2 + 2\cdot36\cdot18\cdot \sqrt{3} = 3(4+2\sqrt{3})(3^2 + 3^2\cdot 3 + 2\cdot3\cdot3\cdot \sqrt{3}). Now expand the RHS and collect like terms.

    I am sorry but I am confused; can you possibly explain it a different way, maybe step by step. I do not understand how to expand.

    yes, you squared everything. but when i simply, i get:

    42+ 24sqrt3= 11 + 6sqrt3 which is a false statement....
