    Exclamation

    Your answer is incorrect lightstevoo. The correct answer is 1.24 x 10^7. Try using the formula the teacher was suppose to supply to you. GOOD LUCK

    emm... mr. Banders Baburto... with all due respect you are aware that you have copied some parts of my ussername. Considering this fact... you should realize that copying my username was not a mere miracle or a coincidence.
    Good Luck with helping solve the problems.

    We have: 6500000 to 9750000 in 5 half-hour periods; 6500000 to K in 8 half-hour periods.

    6500000(1 + r)^5 = 9750000 ; solve to get r : [~.08447]

    K = 6500000(1.08447)^8 = ~12435389 : hence ~1.24 * 10^7 is CORRECT.

    Note: Perhaps I should change my name to "Lightswitch" !
