i got 1.105 x 10^7

but i want to make sure if its correct

Your answer is incorrect lightstevoo. The correct answer is 1.24 x 10^7. Try using the formula the teacher was suppose to supply to you. GOOD LUCK

We have: 6500000 to 9750000 in 5 half-hour periods; 6500000 to K in 8 half-hour periods.

6500000(1 + r)^5 = 9750000 ; solve to get r : [~.08447]

K = 6500000(1.08447)^8 = ~12435389 : hence ~1.24 * 10^7 is CORRECT.

Note: Perhaps I should change my name to "Lightswitch" !
