    Cool Application Word Problem

    π = pi symbol

    "The pitching mound that Mackenzie throws from is circular in shape. The area of the circular pitching mound is (x^2-6x+9)π(pi)in^2. What is the radius of the pitching mound?"

    I got as far as

    (x-3)(x-3)π(pi)in^2

    i dont know what to do next

    π = pi symbol
