9b^2+24b+16 i got (3b+4) ( 3b+4) right?

. . 4x^6 + 4x^5 - 8x^4 + 8x^3
First take out the common factor: .4x³(x³ + x² - 2x + 2)

Factor by grouping: .4x³[x²(x + 1) - 2(x + 1)]

Take out the common factor: .4x³(x + 1)(x² - 2)

(x² + x + 6)(x - 6)

What were the instructions?
It's already factored; it can't be factored any further.

Are they asking us to multiply?
If so, you'd better review Multiplication of Polynomials.

you multiply 2 sums by multiplying every summand of the first sum by every summand of the second sum:

(x² + x + 6)(x - 6) =

x³ + x² + 6x -6x² - 6x - 36 =

collect like terms:

x³ - 5x² - 36

### fatorize 4xÂ³-xÂ²-8x 2
