9b^2+24b+16 i got (3b+4) ( 3b+4) right?
---but then how do you do this I gues factor by grouping I started but it looks weird.

First take out the common factor: .4x³(x³ + x² - 2x + 2)9b² + 24b + 16
. . I got: .(3b + 4)(3b + 4), right? . Right!
But then how do you do this?
I guess factor by grouping . . . . Yes!
. . 4x^6 + 4x^5 - 8x^4 + 8x^3
Factor by grouping: .4x³[x²(x + 1) - 2(x + 1)]
Take out the common factor: .4x³(x + 1)(x² - 2)
(x² + x + 6)(x - 6)
What were the instructions?
It's already factored; it can't be factored any further.
Are they asking us to multiply?
