Thread: Figuring my grade in a class

I need help figuring my grade in my Biology class. The teacher said that the lecture grade accounts for 75% and the lab accounts for 25% of my grade. I'm not sure how to figure this to get my final grade. I'm sure it is easy but I'm drawing a blank. My current lecture grade is 96.7% and lab is 89.3%. Knowing this will come in handy in the future. Can someone please help me. Thanks,

So,
Bio = (75% Lect) +(25% Lab)

If Lect=96.7%, and Lab=89.3%, then by substitution,
Bio = (75% *96.7%) +(25% *89.3%)
Bio = (0.75 *0.967) +(0.25 *0.893)
Bio = 0.72525 +0.22325
Bio = 0.949
Bio = 94.9% -------answer.
