divide by b^2 to both side of the second equation. You get
    ax/b^2 - y/b = a^2/b^2 - 1....(3)
    x/a + y/b = 2 .......(1) Add 1 and 3. You get
    x/a + ax/b^2 = a^2/b^2 + 1.
Simplify and find the value of x.
