    Multiplication of Matrices

    Assuming that R and A are two matrixes, for 5R-2A

    you times matrix R by 5 and matrix A by 2, and then do the subtraction, right?

    Yes, but you should remember that both R and A should be of the same size. If R is n \times n, then A should also be n \times n, else subtraction wont be possible!
