    Word Problem

    The sum of the digits of a two digit number is 7. When the digits are reversed, the number is increased by 27. Find the Number

    ---------------
    I think the first equation is x+y=7
    but I am not sure how to write the second equation

    The answer is 25

    you have the primary equation correct ... her is my shot at the other

    let x = 1st digit
    y = 2nd digit

    (10y+x) - (10x+y) = 27
