1. ## Another solve

root of 2k+1=21

can someone please show me this step how my friend got 121? then 441 i got lost

2k =440
/2 /2

k=220

Next problem: root of 4x-9-2=0

2. I also get k = 220.

3. Set k = 121 and ull see it doesnt work out.

4. Root(4x - 9 - 2) = 0
4x - 9 - 2 = 0 squared
4x = 11
thus x = 2.75

5. im def going to fail this last chapter this radical root stuff isent my thing at all why do the hard chapters always come in the end?!?!

If someone on here is making a math book pleaseeee make the hard stuff in the beg of the book and easy stuff near the back.

This is a weird question, why write -9 - 2, why not just say -11. anyway, janvdl is right

7. yeah this is what the questions says and the answer is 13/4

Hello,

I assume that there are some brackets missing. If you have:

√(4x-9) - 2 = 0
√(4x-9) = 2 now square both sides

4x - 9 = 4
4x = 13
x = 13/4

9. ahh yes thanks! this whole review sheet is full of typos he corrected in class guess he forgot others thanks

forgetting parenthesis causes a whole lot of problems
