    have answer, need equation...

OK, I have a points system where I can have up to 1.3billion points. I need to find a way to convert the points into percentages. I found a way to come up with the points, but I have not been able to reverse it.

    For example:
    % Points
    101 100.00
    102 118.00
    103 139.24
    104 164.30
    105 193.88
    106 228.78
    107 269.96
    108 318.55
    109 375.89

    190 249,746,062.72
    191 294,700,354.01
    192 347,746,417.73
    193 410,340,772.93
    194 484,202,112.05
    195 571,358,492.22
    196 674,203,020.82
    197 795,559,564.57
    198 938,760,286.19
    199 1,107,737,137.71
    200 1,307,129,822.50

    Now, how I got these point values was to take the point value for the number above and multiply by 1.18. (So, 102 = 100 * 1.18 = 118, 103 = 118 * 1.18 = 139.24, 200 = 1,107,737,137.71 * 1.18 = 1,307,129,822.50)

What I'm looking for is one equation that will work to convert all of these point amounts to their respective percentage amount.

Is there one such equation that will work and what is it? I beg you for you genius as I just can't wrap my mind around how to get this equation right.

    Your assignment is 100+x percent <-> y = 100 * 1.18^(x-1) points for x=1..100. So y points corresponds to log(y/100) / log(1.18) + 101 percent.

    For example, log(249746062.72 / 100) = 14.7307, log(1.18) = 0.1655, and the ratio is 89, giving 190 percent.

Thank you. This is exactly what I need and through testing, it does work as I wanted. I'm glad I was able to explain it clearly enough and even more importantly, I'm glad you were able to come up with the answer so quickly for me.

    Thanks again.
