Note that for a), the last part at the top is 4, I don't know why it came out a bit blurry.
Oh yeah and those are equal signs not minuses in a) and b) :S

Do you know how to multiply two matrices?

$\begin{bmatrix}2 \\ -4\end{bmatrix}\begin{bmatrix}x\end{bmatrix}= \begin{bmatrix}2x \\ -4x\end{bmatrix}$ .

$\begin{bmatrix}3 & -1 \\ 2 & 0\end{bmatrix}\begin{bmatrix}x \\ y\end{bmatrix}= \begin{bmatrix}3x- y \\ 2x \end{bmatrix}$ .

Oh, is that all it's asking? Yes I know how to multiply matrix - so I don't even need to touch the right side of each matrix equaton, right?
