Do you know how to multiply two matrices?

$\displaystyle \begin{bmatrix}2 \\ -4\end{bmatrix}\begin{bmatrix}x\end{bmatrix}= \begin{bmatrix}2x \\ -4x\end{bmatrix}$.

Oh, is that all it's asking? Yes I know how to multiply matrix - so I don't even need to touch the right side of each matrix equaton, right?
