First put all the terms except the z term on the right side of the equal sign by adding and subtracting those terms to the right side.

3z = w - 6w + 7

then simplifly the w - 6w

3z = -5w +7

then divide by 3 to solve for z

$\displaystyle z = \frac{-5w+7}{3}$

Does this make sense? - Mar 23rd 2010, 06:18 PMRECONDO89
I saw what you did, i think i remember now...u made it seem less complex thanks!
