    Digits

It takes 852 digits to number the pages of a book consecutively.
How many pages are there? How many times is the digit 7 printed?

    852 -9 (1-9) - 180 (10-99) = 663

    then divide 663 by 3 = 223

    therefore 223 + 90 + 9 = Your answer i think

And 7 appears once per 10 except at 70-79 where it appears 11 times over 10 pages so i get 62 u need 2 check my answers though make sure that i am right

    Single digit...> 9 pages........9 digits
    Two digits....> 90 pages.....> 180 digits
    remaining digits .......(852 - 189) = 663 digits.
So the number of pages containing three digits is .........?
