Thread: Multi-step equation

Hey guys,

I'm really stumped on this problem and would appreciate some help.
I'm not really sure how to type this out, but I'll do my best.

a/3 + 10/a = 91/a

I've tried everything...I thought you had to find the least common multiple for the denominator, but then I get stuck when I tried to make it '3a', because I didn't know if I multiplied 'a' to the first 'a' in the equation (if that makes sense).

I would appreciate it if I was not given the answer, but guided on what to do. Thanks so much!!

If you multipl the equation by 3a you get rid of all the fractions and end up with something simple to solve
