Hello everyone!
I have this equation in two variables
y = A/x+b
I would like to find all the values for x and y that satisfy the equation.
I can't remember the correct procedure, can u help me?
Thanks!
if the equation is as you posted it ...
$\displaystyle y = \frac{A}{x} + b$
... then first note that x cannot be 0.
substitute any other value of x and determine the corresponding value of y.
also, note that there are an infinite number of ordered pairs (x,y) that satisfy this equation.
to get specific solution(s), you'll need a second equation that relates x and y.
