Make x the subject of y= (r+x)/(1-rx)
Follow Math Help Forum on Facebook and Google+
$\displaystyle y= \frac{r+x}{1-rx}$ $\displaystyle y(1-rx)=(r+x)$ $\displaystyle y-yrx = r+ x$ $\displaystyle y-r = x+ yrx$ $\displaystyle y-r = x(1+ yr)$ $\displaystyle x= \frac{y-r}{1+yr}$
thanks anon.1 getting back into maths after 10 years and some things appear harder than they actually are.
Haha no problem. Good luck!
