How do you do this square root question?

    Is it like 3 (√27.48)
Or is it something like the 3 means its cubed.
Its giving me trouble so If anyone could help, You don;t have to solve it just tell me how to do it,
I think its the cube route but I am probably wrong,
the question asks to round it so I thought ^3√27 would equal 3

That is the cube root symbol.

    \sqrt [3]{27.48} \approx 3

Use the calculator for a closer solution

It is a cube root. You can it express it as (27.48)^{\frac{1}{3}}.

Your answer would be 3.01767.. which is approximately 3.
