    Exclamation cubics/quartics

    Task five: Cubics in the form y=ax^3+bx+cx+d
    Use technology to assist you to draw sketch graphs of your own choice to determine the significance of variables a,b,c and d. Make comments on transformations, intercepts and shape.

    Are you unable to choose some numbers for a,b,c,d, graph the functions, and decide what changing those numbers does?

    im not sure how to make the comments on the transformations, intercepts and shape.

    You can't make any comments at all unless you try substituting a few numbers first.

    Describe what you think happens when you change these numbers...

    I am concerned that this question and the other ones similar to it are part of a major assignment you have been given that counts towards your final grade. MHF olicy is to not knowingly help with such questions because they are meant to be your own work.
