    Gym Time

In a 36-minute gym period, 24 students want to play basketball. If only 10 can play at the same time and if each student plays the same amount of time, how many minutes does each student play?

    Hello, aznmartinjai!

    I solved this one already . . .

In a 36-minute gym period, 24 students want to play basketball.
If only 10 can play at the same time and if each student plays the same amount of time,
how many minutes does each student play?

At any given moment, there are 10 students playing.
Hence, there is a total of: 10 x 36 = 360 minutes of playing time.

    Divided among 24 students: .360 24 .= .15 minutes each.
