    sketch

    i'd just like to know what is meant exactly by 'sketch' when asked in a mathematical context; no point coordinates, etc.?

    Draw a picture indicating where the curve cuts the axes, the positions of any asymptotes etc.

    do coordinates have to be given for these points as well as turning points, etc;?
