    Synthetic and Long Division with imaginary numbers?

    How would I solve a problem like 2x^2 + 5x - 7 divided by x + 3i using long division and synthetic division?

    Just as you would with real numbers. There is no difference. (Remembering, of course, that i^2= -1.)
