    Exponential and Logarithmic Functions

    Use composition of functions to determine whether f and g are inverses of one another.
    f(x)=3x;g(x)=1/3x

    If the functions are inverse then f^{-1}(x) = g(x)

    f^{-1}(x) = \frac{x}{3}

    I do not know if you means \frac{1}{3x} or \frac{x}{3}

    Start by finding f(g(x)) , what do you get?
