Standard form and general form
Write an equation of a circle, give its standard form and general form

Radius 2; tangent to x = 2 and y = -1 and above and to the right of these lines

Please help me with this and show the solution... Thanks!

hi

you will need to find the centre of the circle which is (4,1)

tangent at x=2 , move 2 units to the right

tangent at y=-1 , move 2 units up

so equation : (x-4)^2+(y-1)^2=2^2

expand it to get other forms .
