    Help with calculating nautical miles

    (a) How long will it take a vessel travelling at 15 knots to travel 56 km? 1 knot = 1 nautical mile per hour 1 nautical mile = 1.852 km

    (b) If the same vessel increases the speed to 20knots, how much quicker will the journey of 56 km be?

Please assist with this so I can pass the information on.

speed is, by definition, distance divided by time: v= d/t. Then vt= d so t= d/v. How many nautical miles is 56 km?
