1. If 3x-5=10k, then 3x/5-1=___
a. k b. 2k c. 3k d. 4k e. 5k
I got A for number 1

2.The x-intercept is 4 and the y-intercept is 2. Find the equation of the line.
a.y=(1/2x)+2 b.y=(1/2x)-2 c.y=(-1/2x)+2 d.y=(-1/2x)-2 e.y=(-1/2x)+4
I got C for number 2

3.What is the equation of the perpendicular bisector of the line segment which has as its endpoitns the points A(-2,3) and B(5,-4)?
a. x+y-2=0 b.-x+y+2=0 x+y+1=0 d.x+y-1=0 e.-x+y-2=0
I got B for number 3

4. If the point (3,-4) is on the graph of y=f(x), then which of the following points is on the graph of G(x)=f(x-4)-3?
a.(7,-4) b.(3,-7) c.(-1,-7) d.(7,-7) e.(0,-8)

If I missed any of these I would be very thankful if you could give me the right answer and explain it. I know this is a tall order, but I really need this.Its due tommorow so I need help as soon as I can get it.

Once again, I really appreciate your input and help.

2. For number 1: Notice on this problem that the coefficient in your original equation is 3, but then it becomes 3/5. That should give you a hint that you should divide both sides of the equation by 5, which leads you to (B).

3. If you have a graphing calculator, you can figure out most of these problems by graphing the various equations.

4. Sorry, submitted too quickly...
