13. This year Kishan gets £260 a week for his work.
This is 30% more than his weekly pay last year.

His friend Danny says-

"That means you got only £182 a week last year".

Danny is wrong.

As for explaining what Danny did wrong, instead of realizing that 260 was 130% of the original amount, he made the error of assuming that 70% of the current payment was equivalent to 30% more than his former pay.

So he multilplied 260*70%, and got 182. By dividing 260 by 130%, as the above poster did, you get 200, which is the correct answer.
