    Question Intermediate Algebra - Factoring

    Hi, please help me with this problem...

    Why does that (m-n) suddenly disappear?? below pic.

    Say you have:

    a=(m-n), b=(m^2+mn+n^2), and c=(m+n)

    Then,

    ab+ca

    taking out the common factor of a you have:

    a(b+c)
