    Factor (Simple Question)

    Hello,

    How would you factor this to solve for x?

    (x^2-x^4)=0

    You can first take out the common factor of x^2

    THen you have:

    x^2(1-x^2)=0

    x^2(1+x)(1-x)=0

    So x=0 or x=\pm 1
