Thread: simple fraction

I have no idea why this is troubling me, I think I have had a memory lapse.
-4+30/7
I seem to recall you put the left-most fraction into a mixed numeral and then you split the -4 into a mixed number being -3 and 7/7...but this does not give the right answer...
