Solve for x:

$\displaystyle Ix-9I$+$\displaystyle Ix-5I$when $\displaystyle Ix-7I$$\displaystyle < 1 Those I-I s represent abs: from the second inequality I got: \displaystyle 6<x<8 But I don´t get that adding part.... 2. hi

solve for x ??

|x-7|<1 , -1<x-7<1

therefore , 6<x<8 , x=7 assuming that its an integer .

|7-9|+|7-5|=4
