Did I answer problems one and two correctly?

A seed company has fescue grass seed worth 55 cents per pound and bluegrass seed worth 95 cents per pound. How many pounds of each should be mixed to produce 100 pounds of seed mix that will sell for 70 cents per pound?


Answer: .95x+.55(100-x)=.70(100)
x= 37.50, 37.50 pounds of bluegrass seed and is 62.50 pounds of the fescue grass seed???

The Indian Tea Company makes a tea blend of cinnamon tea worth $2.50 per kilogram and black tea worth $2.00 per kilogram. How many kilograms of each should be used to produce a 20-kilogram blend whose total worth is $46.00?


2x+2.50(20-x)=46
x=8, So 8 kilograms of black tea and 12 kilograms of cinnamon tea???
