I am totally lost and have no idea how to do any of these :(

And he/she wouldn't help you? Show me a little of what you tried for say-I don't know- #1 perhaps.

i still have to do #1..i'll show u #2...

2sinx=sin^2+cos^2x
2sinx=1
sinx= 1/2
x= sin (inverse) (1/2)
x= 180/6
x=30

0<30<2(180)

Hey, that's great work, but I really not making the connection to "#2" here. You were asked to explain why the asymptotes of the graph of $y=\tan{x}$ are found where they are.
