Math Help - To the power of +1

    To the power of +1

    I was working on an assignment with my friend and he seemed reasonably convinced that to the power of 5 + 1 would equal to the power of 6.

    I really wasn't sure about this.

    Well if N=5 then N+1=6.

    So it would be to the power of 6 instead?
