    Exclamation [SOLVED] solving system

    which one should i use for doing a substitution method?

    6y=x+18
    or
    2y-x=6

    You have,

    6y-x=18
    Thus, x=6y-18

    Substitute that into equation (2),
    2y-(6y-18)=6
    2y-6y+18=6
    -4y=-12
    y=3
    Now you can find "x"
