Find the center, vertex and foci
Question : Put the equation 4x^2 + 9y^2 = 36 in the standard form and sketch it. Indicate its center, vertex and foci

Solution :

I am getting a ellipse equation $\frac{x^2}{4} + \frac{y^2}{4} = 1$
and the e = 0
since the value of b and a are both the same i dont know how to plt the graph which one should i take as the major and minor axis

This is incorrect. If you divide both sides by 36, you will get

$\frac{x^2}{9} + \frac{y^2}{4} = 1$.

sorry typo mistake !!!!!

so now the e = 0

what should i do
since fucus (ae,0) and since e=0 then ae = 0
