Slove equestion

Hi guys
I need a way to solve this equation :
x^3-8x^2-4x+32
I know the solution is :
(x+2)(x-2)(x-8) , but i don't know how to find it

Thank You

Try this:

x^3 - 8x^2 - 4x + 32 = x(x^2 - 4) - 8 (x^2-4)

Now factorise that again and expand the x^2 - 4

you probably mean factor the expression
this not an equation you can solve for x

first factor by grouping

x^2(x-8)-4(x-8)

next factor out (x-8)

(x^2 -4)(x -8)

with the difference in squares we have

(x+2)(x-2)(x-8)
