I need a way to solve this equation :
x^3-8x^2-4x+32
I know the solution is :
(x+2)(x-2)(x-8) , but i don't know how to find it

$x^3 - 8x^2 - 4x + 32 = x(x^2 - 4) - 8 (x^2-4)$

Now factorise that again and expand the $x^2 - 4$

you probably mean factor the expression
this not an equation you can solve for x

first factor by grouping

$x^2(x-8)-4(x-8)$

next factor out $(x-8)$

$(x^2 -4)(x -8)$

with the difference in squares we have
$

(x+2)(x-2)(x-8)
$
