Simplifying the Radical?

I really don't understand how to work this problem out. I usually just use my calculator but my instructor (online student) wants me to show work.

√ $150x^5y^8$

√ $20x^4 *$ √ $5x$

$\sqrt{150x^4xy^8}= \sqrt{(25)(6)x^4xy^8}=5x^2y^4 \sqrt{6x}$

$\sqrt{20x^4} \sqrt{5x}=\sqrt{100x^4x}=10x^2 \sqrt{x}$
