Is there a restriction on how many songs can fit onto a cd?

The previous posters were asking if there is any more information to the question. I mean you could technically put them ALL on the CD if the goal is just to store them.

I asked myself the same questions. This comes from my fourth graders homework. I don't know what to tell her. Any suggestions, please ?
