    simple solve for x

    I haven't been in school in a while, and forgot how to solve for x on this type of problem.... Please help if you can. Thanks!

    .277 = (2004.9 - x) / 2004.9

    2004.9-x=0.277\times2004.9
    -x=0.277\times2004.9-2004.9
    x=-0.277\times2004.9+2004.9=2004.9\times0.723
