1.) 6x - y = 33
x + 4y = 18

2.) x - 8 = y
y + 2 = x

Help ASAP please!

Just put $y$ the subject

:

1) $6x - y = 33 \rightarrow 6x - 33 = y \rightarrow y = 6x - 33$

$x + 4y = 18 \rightarrow 4y = 18 - x \rightarrow y = \frac{18 - x}{4}$

2) $x - 8 = y \rightarrow y = x - 8$

$y + 2 = x \rightarrow y = x - 2$
