1. ## GMAT problems I missed...need help

First problem really frustrated me, here it is

((8^2)(3^3)(2^4))/96^2

I don't know how to get this answer, I simplified the 8^2 to 2^6 and then combined it with the 2^4 for 2^10 but it didn't give me the right answer b/c the bottom was so hard to figure out.

That's simply 64 * 27 * 16 / 9216 = 27648 / 9216 = 3

Try not to complicate things

We Cannot use a calculator, and the exam is timed, should I have just multiplied it out on paper though?

4. ((8^2)(3^3)(2^4))/96^2

8x8 = 64
3x3 =9 x 3 = 27
2x2 = 4 x 2 = 8 x 2 = 16
64 x 27

64x27

27 x 4 = 108
4 = 108
8 = 216
16 = 432
32 = 864
64 = 1728

That is how I'd do it in my head and the same method with the rest of the multiplication

5. alright thanks I'll check in later today and post some more questions I didn't get correct.
