What common term can you factor out of the two parts of your polynomial?

3. Here is the answer my friend

x ( x - 4 ) = 0

4. Hey! He can do it himself! Answering it for him won't help him on a test.

Solve the following quadratic by factoring:

$\displaystyle x^2+8x$ and

$\displaystyle x^2-4$

5. Well yes but I think sometimes its better to give the answer... when I get the answer I always study it before writing it down, so I understand it!

Knowledge is more important than imagination sometimes!

6. x (x+8) = 0

and

(x-2) (x+2) = 0

Jameson help me for my one now! pleaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeee

Point noted. But giving away an answer isn't knowledge. For him, it's copying down numbers that may or may not make sense. You have the power to help people actually learn!

I'd love to discuss this topic with you, but I don't think this is the right forum.

EDIT: Natasha! You sly person. Those were for Ben. Tsk tsk tsk. You just want to solve everything huh?

Also, you missed the first one. Watch your signs!
